 This is a shamrock leaf floating in a pan of water, the pan is blue. The designs around the edge are reflections in the surface tension.

This is absolutely unusual - and by that I mean what really hyponotizes the viewer is that pattern seen reflecting around the edges of the leaf. The only critique I can offer on this one is that the green hues on the leaf appear flat and not as dynamic as the hues on the blues - and those blues are stunning and vibrant.

I am tickled to come in 15th...this is only my second Challenge and I am learning my way around. I figure this is the best place to say "Thank You" to everyone who took the time to comment...I really appreciate every single comment. When I vote now...I take the time more often to comment on photos that I really like or that you can tell the person really put their heart into.

This is a beautiful and original image. I love those unusual patterns around the edge of the leaf. My only feedback would be to move the water drop to the right a bit since I do think it would look better on the upper left third line. Other than that small point, this is a really excellent shot.

in this compostion I think that water drop takes away from whatever that cool blue stuff is.

I really like the patterns found at the edge of the leaf in the liquid. Reminds me of fractals. Also see a face with the droplet as an eye.
