you could have grabbed the opportunity of playing with lights to give it some feeling.

I find this to just be a mediocre photograph of a circuit board. Next time, try and maybe find a more interesting angle, or perspective.. something that'll give a more dynamic composition, and give the viewer something to really look at.

Excellent DOF and clarity on the photograph. I really like that I can read the numbers and see the traces so clearly.

The lighting seems a bit flat. Try getting a desklamp and playing around with different lighting angles to add more impact.
