I'm glad you're not planting a vegetable garden -- looks like they might be tough to peel.

This shot is a bit of a mystery to me. Composition is ok, but could be better. Seems a little to set up for me. The leaves on the ground looked placed there rather than being naturally there. I get the idea of metallic plants sprouting, but it doesn't really appeal to me. Background is a bit distracting. Lighting isn't interesting. I think the butterfly is really cool.

original idea but somehow I don't think there'd be crisp brown autumn leaves like that in spring . 8

you have a wicked sense of homour. :)
There are springs and there is Spring.
You could also have added twigs to the stems.

I like the picture and the addition of the butterfly on the flower. The two smaller flowers growing up from the ground add to the spring look, and the sharpness/detail of the flowers is good. My one comment would have to be the leaves on the ground. Maybe not so much if they were green leaves (though I suppose leaves don't fall even in spring), but the orange and brown leaves envoke an autumn feel, and detract from a spring one.

I do not understand why you have leaves on the ground? It distracts a bit from the overall image. Nice photo of the flowers.
