 After days of trying to decide which one to submit...realized that this is the one that means the most to me. Don't have all the fancy macro lens and stuff...so this is as "macro" as it gets ;) So, hope you all enjoy it...it's my eye, by the way...took some creativity to take this. :)

Sharpening the edge of the face would help this shot. Otherwise nice.

Too much open space on the left, the eye should have been more towards the center.

A nice close-up with a blacl, black and unusual cropping and angle.

This is a very unusual photo in the way it's composed, but I think it's very effective. Nice shot.

this is my favorite out of all the eyes submitted. i love the color and composition.

I can't really see the eye, the pupil looks black (which is cool) but the reflections in the eye over take it.

the is a weird light spot in the black backround above the eyelashes and to the left.

Nice macro! There are 2 minor things that stand out to me in the shot though. First, the reflection doesn't really ADD to the photo, so I do find it a bit of a distraction. Maybe if it were a specific shape, or something recognisable, or something, it would be different. I'm not sure what it is about it that bugs me, but it does a bit. Also, I wish I could see the ends of the eye lashes. My brain tells me they are there, and the fact that I can't see them seems odd. That being said, I do still love the shot. Very nice work, focus and clarity are great and I love where you have placed the subject within the photo. Good luck in the challenge. ~Heather~
