 VERY interesting stats on this image.
Just look at the one, two, and three votes. Is this image really that bad? Over 20% of the voters voted this image a four or less.

Hmmm...

And compare the participants (5.2) vs non-participants (6.4) scores.

Interesting.

If you have a theory, please tell me. Is it my image? Or the voters?


Yeah... I know. I should have gotten him to change his clothes from my Mini World entry.

But... the real story is that Son came home for only two days. I was torn between the scenes I wanted to do for Mini World... so I shot for a few ideas.

This pose was for him sitting inside of a lightbulb.


I did something else for Mini World... but had those shots and had a bit of time... so... I put him on a banana.

Makes perfect sense to me.

I remembered that I recognized him as the guitar player when I was voting but that didn't bother me at all. It is perfectly valid to use a good picture that was created for a certain challenge in a Free Study. I can't understand why anybody should give a 2, 3 or 4... oh well - we'll never know...
I rated this picture a 7 but I would have given an 8, if the shadows under his feet weren't somewhat harsh.

And I have to tell you a funny story as an aside:
When I was voting on the miniworld (your son playing guitar) our daughter was looking over my shoulder. When she saw you son she said: Well, if this handsome guy asked me for a date I certainly wouldn't decline!!!

How absolutely crazy was the voting on this challenge. If you look at the average vote given by participants nearly everyone scored so much lower than the non-participants.
I didn't vote I'm away at the moment, just sayin
