 Takes with the 18-55mm kit lens, with a 50mm 1.8 reversed in front of it, from about 2" away.
Shot in Burst Mode using the 20D
Tv Mode set at 1/60
Ran it through Neat Image even though it didn't need much.
Sharpened, cropped and levels in Photoshop.
I wish I could do some spot editing!

This is one of my top few, I do wonder however if the composition could be inproved if you had croped more off the left hand side.

Excelent idea. I like the great detail on the match head. Amazing how you can see the line where the flames have burnt so far. I would like the shot a little more if the match head wasn't squarely in the center though.

Well, this has certainly stood out with my voting so far. I think macro actions shots will do well, so good luck.

Cool, I mean hot shot. Love the 1/2 lit match. Must have been some setup. Like the crop with the falme dominant. Would have been nice to have sharper matchstick, if possible. Great shot.
