 My second entry, my second macro. Done at the kitchen table using natural light, a 70-200 lens, a 1.4 TC, a 50mm f1.8 lens in reverse, a pincushion, a tripod, a needle, some thread and a lot of criticism from my wife.

Difficult I know, but do you think the leading edge could do with a touch moe sharpness? Good shot anyway.

I really like this one. It's different and interesting to look at (i.e. it's more than just CLOSE-UP). I also like the mauve background. Good job :)

Wow what a close up. I lioked the white on red backround. but whould ahve gone higher if a little more of the stray threads were in focus. I think it would have given your eyes some where to wander. Great work 7

I think a black background would work better here, giving more contrast against the white thread and silver metal.

great shot--your focus is in just the right place. For my taste, the shot would have been better with a more saturate background.
