Challenge: Macro Without Bugs or Flowers (Basic Editing I)
Camera: Canon PowerShot A40
Location: Desk
Date: Nov 4, 2004
Aperture: 8.0
ISO: 50
Shutter: 0.8
Galleries: Macro, Water
Date Uploaded: Nov 5, 2004

A simple shot that came about after carelessly spilling some water on my desk while studying, and then getting carried away.

Spread vaseline on the desk to help the droplets retain their form. This is about as macro as I can manage with the Canon PS A40.

Ok I realy like the color and feel of this one. I even like the shadows and the lighting. I can't however see "Oak" at all... But thats part of the fun of macro photography is fooling the person looking at the photo. I also would have a hard time calling this a macro.. not because it dosn't fit the definition , but because I cant tell what it is or its scale in the theme of things, For all I know the red blobs of paint (not likely but hey I'm guessing) could be rather large. But other than that I like this shot.

nice...it would have been better if instead of the orange light...was a blue one..
