 Printed out the binary code and error message then held if very closely above the CD and shot the picture. Focal length was 11.9mm Shot in RAW and resized to meet regs.

Lovely. Did you print the numbers on the cd? It doens't look like a reflection. I'd have preferred a '2' instead of 'Fatal Error' though.

Heh really cool idea! Good photo too, although I would have liked to see it flipped vertically so the text is the right way up.

This is intended as constructive criticism, I like this a lot but its such a shame that the words 'FATAL ERROR' themselves weren't in sharp focus. The foreground is a little distracting as well - this could have been a potential ribboner.

I like this shot. I like the colors and love the subject matter. I am interested on how you managed to get the binarie on the cd. The main think that hurts this shot is the fact that only the numbers seem to be in focus. Not that the rest is important to the shot. But I feel it would have helped.
