Wish it was advanced editing and I could run it through Neat Image. I have no idea how that little piece of leaf held him and his shell up.

I really like the composition. It makes a beautiful image. However, I do think that DOF is falling a wee bit short here. Maybe it's the actual focus point. But the way it's now, the sharpest area of the image doesn't look like that's what I should be looking at.
Overall, I think it's a very good image. All the best.

This kind of a shot needs immaculate sharpness.

Great shot. Good sharpness. Might have liked to see both antennae/eyes (?) in focus. I like the dof on the bg though. Good work.

Great macro and lovely soft colors. Would showing more space underneath the snail have given a greater sense of his strange balancing abilities?

Nice image and composition. I wonder if a lower angle from below may have emphasised the balance predicament more - what do you think?

Great fit for the challenge -- that definitely seems to defy nature. I wish it was a little more in focus, but a cool picture anyway.

Not much of that snail is actually in focus. Good concept, but I'd like to see the shell and the antlers all in focus. One antler is just not enough, IMO.

I don't want to be the one to say this, but there are no "laws of balance". Good photo. Might have benefited from a greater DOF.
