Went back to the same location as my recent ribbon winner in the February free study. Had my friend walk past the art but a guy with his son walked past and I liked what I got from them a bit better. Yes, there are actually two people there side by side, if you zoom in you can see the sons head lower on the mans body.

This time I did a more centered composition and kept the photograph in my cameras native 4/3 ratio (other entry I cropped to 3:2).

Wonder if my previous shot being on the front page is going to effect my score on this one.

I think what I would've said has already been said and they're probably the boxes you should of ticked.

I think the original was much better also.

Hello from the Critique club

An appealing image that meets the challenge well.

You were right to ask the question and I think your score and comments have answered it for you! Whilst I adored your original and I still regard this image as excellent per se, it really doesn't do it any favours to so closely replicate the original even if it was so successful. I think you needed to distinguish from it predecessor to make it another original. Given the challenge brief in my mind I see this in portrait orientation with just the one red diamond or three at most with the camera on the floor making dynamic focused use of the centred tile line. Or alternatively zoomed in on those gorgeous reflections but then you're starting to lose the challenge theme.

Nice to see this gorgeous image again but not so soon. Thanks for your entry Ronnie

nice image unfortunately just had an almost identical image in the free study and some folks will vote you down for that, the floor seam makes a nice leading line into the image.

Love this, but wasn't it used before?

As much I loved the image the first time and gave you a 10, I cannot give you as high this time...The wow effect is gone and feels like milking the cow twice. The first one with the walking position was also more relaxing to look at. Let's say -2 for the deja vu, -2 for the overall image. A 6 from me.
