| changing colors of reality can jolt us out of normal ways of seeing, so that at first we only see shapes... in other words, we see the abstraction of the scene. This technique would be more interesting if it were of a subject that wasn't already abstract. |

| I'm still not sure of my own definition of abstract. I'm not one that thinks that abstracts have to be blurry or unrecognizable. Yet this one doesn't seem that abstract to me. Perhaps it's because even though I recognize it, it doesn't end up drawing me in more and playing to my imagination. Which translates to a 5, I guess. I'm wanting more. sorry... |
