A tributary of Grape Creek. We used to walk here often, but that was before the flood, and before the fire. Now the clear waters are strangely colored, full of bright green moss (which may or may not glow in the dark)and the grasses have given way to tumbleweeds and cockleburrs. The grasses which have come back were full of small black spiders, literally thousands of them, that scampered toward to west as we slogged through what used to be a path and now is a marsh. I'm pretty sure they weren't black widows, but..... The area is slowly renewing, but it is sad to compare what is now to what was then.
