I was heading out to the woods behind our house and waiting on my son to catch up. Noticed the footprints left in this small dirt area where we had walked thru the day before. Strong sidelight ... something about it I liked so I grabbed an image.

Thinking about this challenge and this photo seemed to fit - at least for me. When I saw these prints in the dirt it made me ponder about the paths we take, the ground we cover. History of a place that fades away. Stories that may get remembered but likely never told.

Don't know ... just made me think. Hope it sparks something in you as a viewer as well.

Having a difficult time with the red at the tip of the print. If it's an artifact or a result of processing then it distracts, if it's something in the mud then I want a better look at it or to have its impact reduced as its presence is still more a distraction than something that intrigues me.
