This is fascinating to look at. Very un-photographic in nature. Strong abstract qualities. It draws my eye without answering anything for my mind. I have a small, nagging, worry that this is a photo of an existing artwork. I hope you made some Notes for my curious mind.

Thanks for the Notes. I could not think of how anyone would get a chance to photograph so large a crowd :D or how the art deco feeling got in there :D or where the person in the hoodie came from. To me it looked like a 1920's ballroom, except of course for the smiley face balloons. And the light is excellent. I see now the freeway details, but not before. Anyway, it just proves (again) that the best camera is the one in your hand. Good eye.

I can't exactly put my finger on the appeal here.. but I find it captivating.. love the light and toning. |
