Small suggestion: crop the top 1/10 or so, basically at the water line and a higher angle would have netted you some great reflections on the lake surface. 8 Swash
(I was tempted to minus 1 more point for the duck/geese thing, but I'm feeling generous!!!)

Your generosity is greatly appreciated = ).

Thanks. My first digital camera and my first time using it. The outcome wasn't too bad. I'm learning and having fun at the same time, there's nothing better.

I'd have called it "The Original Goose-Steppers"

Them are not ducks! Them are Canada Geese! Good eye for cathing this flock, but the lighting is not too pleasing.

title doesn't match subject (geese)

Nice pic...mighty Canada Geese would be a more appropriate name though, since that's what they are.
02/06/2003 12:03:19 PM
Their geese!!!

They're Geese!! It's a shame that the group in the foreground are walking away from you. You've got a nice depth of focus though.

Minor point but I don't think those are ducks ... look like Canadian Geese to me!
02/04/2003 07:56:17 AM
I'm no expert but seems to me that those are not ducks, but rather Canada Geese.
02/03/2003 08:34:35 PM
Technically speaking are these ducks or geese? They sure are mighty...they walk on water. This is a really neat photo. I love the focus. So clear so far. Great shot. Beautiful. Well done.
