 Big old maple tree with a no trespassing, private property sign tacked on the tree right next to a large hole (squirrel or owl nest).

Greetings from the Critique Club!

I find the colours a little washy here, and the snow a little bleached out. Some more contrast would have helped give depth to the shot. I think a closer crop so that you were eliminating the 'ing' in the No Trespassing sign would have helped the composition a bit esp as the hole is very centred here. After all, comments indicate that people can't see the 'Private Property' part of the sign, so you can't assume that people *know* what the rest of the sign says.
