The dogs serve well many metaphors. Something quietly brilliant about this. |

Ah these critters. Who is in control really? A delightful romp through the ambiguous personality of the gaze of dogs. I swear sometimes that, aside from what they will eat, they are like Grecian gods paying the price for some indiscretion towards Zeus and cast in their furry forms to torment and titillate us. Perhaps from the Epic of Gilgamesh indicative of the incipit Sha naqba imuru ("He who Saw the Deep", in modern terms: "He who Sees the Unknown" . But it is easy for me to get carried away here under the influence of this hairy houdini. A nice exploration of the sentiment and charged atmosphere of the bullfight. |

This bull is already part of our family here.
I like the humor and the pace of your play. |

Bull fights are for the lovers of death. If the bull is not killed in the arena, during the allotted time, then he is killed outside. A good matador flirts with death every time he performs. The closer he comes to the bulls horns the better his performance. It̢۪s what everybody came to see, death.
You lightly tread over this inevitable end. I can̢۪t help think of pixelpig's essay and how she dealt with this subject. Different perspectives, on a common subject, make story telling so intriguing.
I feel we̢۪ve been down this road before but still enjoyed the walk. |
