This was LITERALLY a last minute entry. I got home from a hockey game at about 11:15 PM ET. I tried to find my card reader (cuz I knew I didn't know where it was). No luck to running short on time I decided to go with the iPhone and began exploring ideas (yes I now have about 30 minutes and I don't know what ornament to shoot).
Turns out I bough my kids these glass ornaments for crafts. They had the "melted snowman in them which I dumped out (knowing that they could later re-insert the salt and chocolate chips and fake carrot). I decided to use the vanity/makeup light we had sitting on the floor of our living room for some reason. I used a suction cup hook I found in the junk drawer.
Since there was still some residual salt in the ornament, I filled it with water and rinsed. Since I didn't want to wait for drops to dry, I decided to shoot it filled with water. The suction cup held - until it broke.
Next ornament. My original idea of having an infinitely mirrored ornament inside itself didn't work due to the reflection of my phone which I didn't have time to hide.
Anyway, now it has officially taken me more time to write this than it took me to enter this challenge ;)
