i think we have all seen this sort of thing. Pretty exact on the bizzare nature. 8 for that.

I don't much like the shot visually or technically, but this is the best challenge topic rendition among all the entries, so a 10.

I like the way you juxtapose the manmade fence with the element of nature in the tree. Nice colors, too, and good exposure. Lack of an interesting subject for the viewer to focus on brings it down a bit in my mind.

I like the colors of it but im curious how it would look in half desaturation...with just blue fence.

Man v Nature : Nature wins again

I like this a lot, and think it DEFINITELY applies to the topic. May have been a stronger image in B&W, but thats a matter of personal taste.

we used to have a cut portion of a 2' oak trunk out by our main road... then some jerk cut the thing out. fence and all!
