| I love this image for many reasons. Though obviously a car dashboard, it's reinvigorated from the mundane by holding it up for close attention. The knobs have come alive in gleaming contrast to the dark, muddied background, so deliciously and murkily processed. The surrealism, in my opinion, is engendered by the sense of hovering about the inanimate and the sense of imminent ignition, roaring to life. And it's just so impressive how very much the photographer can glean from what is easily passed by as too familiar to be worthy of note. Inspirational. |
