Now is the peak aspen color in the Bear Lake area, RMNP. 9500' is very good now. This scene is about 150 yards up the Flattop Mountain trail from Bear Lake. 09/19/15 7:36AM MDT. Canon 5Dmk3, Canon EF24-105mm f/4L IS USM, f/16, 1/13s, ISO 100, lens focal length 35mm. 0.9 soft grad ND filter. Aspen colors will spread to lower elevations between now and Oct. 10.
