One of my favorite shots at the end of July, but not edited to August, so I couldn't get it into any of the DPL challenges, or even drop it into the Free Study... and then Gems popped up!

So disappointing... My "gem" started out at 5.5, then started going down. I avoided even logging in for a whole day.
Came back to an even 6, then a trickle down again. Man, you early voters are tough! TBH, I was ready to give up a couple of times.
Then... slowly but surely, it rose above that "First Time 6" level, settled a bit, got a little higher. Then today, 6.3+ and a favorite! May not be huge to you guys, but it put a grin on the BBG's face (Big Bald Guy, for reference)
Even if it drops again, whoever faved this pic, you made my day. Thanks to all who voted!
Wow, broke 6.4 and placed 17th. Small achievement, big grin. I'm happy to have this one as my current PB! |
