 Asked at our local drugstore if I could take pictures when no products and pricing could be seen - was no problem for the shop manager, puhhh.
Attached my camera on the cart with a velcro tape, set it on long exposure and swirled it around in front of the baby diaper departement (because there are the most vibrant colors)
It was fun - had to explain what I was doing to a bunch of customers, had some nice conversation about photography too

I think your idea was good; IMO, less background blur would have made for a more interesting photo.
