This challenge interested me. But then work got exhausting. Then about 90 minutes before challenge end I decided to take my camera outside to see if anything looked cool after an evening of heavy rain. (I wasn't actually even thinking about the challenge).
I had some fun laying in the street when it hit me I should look for broken glass.
Umm, wait. I have about an hour. I wonder if I can break a beer bottle and use that in the street? So I drank the last hard apple cider and went to work. Turns out bottles are very hard to break. I even tried hammers. (I didn't want to leave broken glass anywhere so the bottle was contained in a cardboard box, I wasn't up to tossing and breaking.)
But hey - turns out wine glasses are easy to break. (We don't really drink wine. Plus we have 10 of the same wine glass and we've never had more than two visitors at a time.)
I had a good time. I tried a couple of different compositions, but this seemed the strongest.
I actually set my Fuji to capture in black and white, but I ended up using the raw file put through Nik Define and the Nik Silver Pro.
