Thanks for the comments!
I guess I should've kept the original title of Roscoe's NOSE to prevent any comments about his eyes/face being out of focus...but oh well! I appreciate all the comments no matter what!
And yes, to those that asked, that is his name and he's a serious hazardous Duke...you should see him full speed thru the apartment, fishtailin' and everything :)
Thanks everyone!
Katy

Is that realy his name?
I just watched the dukes with my kids (it was new to them) and they enjoyed it as I did when I was a little child. |

Would rather see more of the cat's head. |

Focus soft, or DOF to shallow. |

I've done this with my cats and they get sooo disgusted with me. I chuckled with his nearly macro nose shot. Good job |

LOL! I just had to say that name out loud! That brought back some good memories of them Dukes! Great macro of your cat. Just that I find it odd that the focal point is the nose, however, and no leading lines to the rest of the face. |

IMHO if your gonna get this close, you need more in focus.

The excellent composition saves this shot from being very mediocre. Not sure about the focus on the nose, if you have a version with focus on the eyes it would be interesting to compare the two. 8. |
