I awarded this image the brunette pigtail. To me, her face speaks of a lifetime of love, service, sacrifice, hard times, good times. Her expression is serene, looking like she is at peace with her life, and who she is.
In ways, she reminds me of my own mother and her wonderful qualities. |

sometimes you are photographing someone so beautiful that your job is simply to let us see the beauty, and get everything else out of the way. You have done so.
