I wanted my contribution to be meaningful and pertinent, not trivial. In research I found that a war grave cemetery in Bath England has 3 Canadians of a total of 122 war graves. When I visited I was surprised to find the 3 Canadians together in adjacent graves.
One of them was William Wilbur Johnson from Clinton, Ontario, Canada died of Liver disease aged 28 years after 2 years fighting in France. He is pictured below.
I researched and was led to considerable detail about William who is mentioned in "Somewhere in France" by John Cannon Stothers.
I wanted my image to feel "real" to show I was there.

Sadly there are many like this; it's good to see they're still being taken care of :)

I might have moved down a few headstones to the one with the vivid red flower to make that more prominent. As your eye moves now, we have an interesting headstone, dull wilted looking flowers, and a bright pop of red at the end. I would have liked to see the red pop at the beginning overlaying the headstone a bit. With that said, I don't know what the grounds looked like, so maybe you made the best choice.
