I'm not sure which is tougher, thinking of an idea, or deciding which of your best two photos to submit to each challenge. I had a lot of fun rolling the dice, let's just hope I get lucky and folks enjoy the frozen display. Oh, and if anyone is wondering....I stopped counting the rolls after a hundred..... ~david

I'm a little late on this, sorry.

The first thing that stands out for me is the slight blurriness to some of the die. It is in that borderline state where I think it should be even blurrier or not blurry at all. Brighter lights, a smaller aperture, and/or a faster shutter speed would have helped. Overall I think it is pretty well done and shows a good amount of creativity and execution. The composition is nice and simple which is appropriate. These kind of shots usually have a black background, which is fine, but I'm wondering if something else could have worked even better like some subtle design or gradient. I'm not sure, though. You made a good choice in choosing the dice. The transparency adds some more detail and interest. The uneven lighting is like the blurriness where I would rather see it even more uneven or more evenly lit. I like the brilliance in the color on the top dice and would like to see that same brilliance on the rest of the dice. It looks nice and clean and the coloring looks good. For the most part, a nice job.

I really like this idea. Very creative. The problems with it is the soft focus and the lighting. If you wanted to do this the cheater way, maybe you could have glued the die to your background?

Interesting subject, i like the creativity and the falling effect created.

The contrast between the red and green works well. I think it may be just a tad dark though. Those colors, with a little more light, could be awesomely vivid, I think.

I really like how you have take this picture. I think that by adding a little more light to the bottom dice would have created more intrest. But I really do think that this picture was very nicely done. Good Work

I find the lighting on the bottom three dice a little dark, and a suggestion of movement would have been nice and complimented the caption.

very nice. but a little too dark and fuzzy. try this again with light coming back thru the dice to make them glow.

Dice are too dark and a little blurry. But still worth a 7 to me.
