Found this very tiny caterpillar in my garden. He was about 1/4" long. I believe it is a Hickory Tussock Moth caterpillar. The caterpillar excretes an allergenic chemical which can be quite reactive to humans. It can cause an itchy rash, swelling and nausea. I'm glad he wasn't in a bad mood!
