 All I know is that this is a plant. I don't know what kind of plant, just that it was at the botanical gardens like place, and didn't have a label. I think it's at the last stages, but I don't know.

It's just cool :)

I did use some editing to make it even more cool. In Topaz Clarity, I shifted the green background to more of an Aqua. I did that more in Aperture. Gives it kind of like a sea amoeba type feel.

My wife's guess was long exposure fireworks. I look forward to seeing other guesses.

In case anyone wonders, the title means nothing. It was the title I had in place for a previous entry, and I just kept it.

it's a sea creature of some sort with those long "hairy" appendages to collect small bits of things floating by
