 I spent hours (ok 30 minutes) trying to drop the White Tailed Sea Eagle feather with a long expose and speedlights to get the 'trail' as it dropped but ended up with the feather on the ground and tied some fishing wire to a paper towel and dragged that upward during the exposure.

Didn't quite get the right effect but close enough for me ;)

This is great, the light stream is a great touch to separate this photo from the similarly themed shots. Most of which are very well done as well.

The swoosh effect is cool. Lighting on the face of the feather is too flat.
