 This beautifuly young lady really does look like she stepped out of a Jane Austen novel. And she is both into period costuming, and an avid reader. This image depicts her favorite thing to do - with the cat by her side.

The cat is quite old, and very fond of lying by the window. But naturally, that would not make for a very interesting shot, since she would be blocked by Chloe. So I had Chloe sit close to the window. Penelope just could not wrap her head around this new arrangement. It took quite a while for her to get tired of waiting for things to get back to normal to finally lie down. It was perfect.

Great shot. Just curious, saw that you used your D90 instead of one of your FF cameras. Any particular reason why?

Love light, color, and details of this photo. There is no better way than to spend the day curled up all cozy & warm, with the sunlight pouring in, and your favorite cat flopped next to you as you read a good book:-)
