| This a nice, tranquil photo, but I'm not sure where the implied line(s) is/are. If it's the trees, I don't think there are enough of them, nor are they compositionally important enough to be considered. If it's the shore line, I think it's more of an actual line. As for the composition, my opinion is that the photo would have been more effective if you had stepped a little to the left and had more of an angle to the river back, creating more a diagonal to pull the viewer through the picture. The straight line is a little to direct, leaving the eye with nowhere to go in the image. I hope you understand what I'm trying to convey here. But in any eveny, it's just an opinion. |
