 WOW, 4th - am well pleased with this. My first shot for this challenge also used a 'Passing Place' sign (we have 100's on the Island) that was next to an old Cemetry and decided to re-shoot after the Graveyard Challenge was announced as I thought it might affect voting?

This was shot at the top of our drive and just 100 yards from where a delivery Van left the road earlier in the year - trying to squeeze past a car rather than use the 'Passing Place'.

Regards the Title, some got the humour of Rush Hour on a quite road (this is our Main Road!). But it does get busy, I was there for almost an hour and must have shot 20 cars before I was happy.

Congrats on the HM. I love the substance-to-blur, which I feel is more effective than a total blur would have been. The scenery is beautiful.

The sign and scenery told me it was Scotland. But where? I even thought it might be on my 'own' Isle of Skye. But Mull is a good alternative, maybe even one of the most beautiful islands of Scotland.
Great image, I really like the movement of the car and this curved movement and the similar curves in clouds and road really makes this a strong image. Congrats on the HM!

What I love about this image is the shape of the blur. Very unique. Even has a bit of a reflected sky! Did your processing bring out that effect?

Great capture. The juxtaposition between the so low impact sign "PASSING PLACE" and dramatically blurred automobile are what make the image work for me - and provide some sociologic commentary.

Well coordinated - the sign, the wonderful blur, the title. Sky's a little dark for me - not in the ominous sense but in the processing sense. Maybe my imagination.

Rather unusual juxtaposition of elements - rush hour with only one car in a very rural setting, sharp image with blurry car (nice capture, with semi-transparent vehicle). Lower angle. For me, the image is technically good, but there are too many messages and they are disjointed.
