I tend to do better with images with people in them. Or at least, I tend to find images with people in them to more interesting. So, I shoehorned a person into leaves.

I didn't really have an idea for this one. I looked out at the back fence and saw some nice ivy, and I thought about making a laurel wreath and getting one of my daughters to wear it. Unfortunately, neither daughters was available. Unfortunately for him, my son was. He was a good sport.

OK, so the idea wasn't great, but as a portrait I was not unhappy with how this turned out. It looks like it might finish as a tiny violin, but it got some good comments.
