| This memoir by an Alzheimer's patient is the most beautiful, frustrating, heartbreaking book I've ever read. Don't read this expecting a typical autobiography. The story has been robbed from us, just like it's been robbed from the author. What we have instead is a lament, and a life diffracted into fragments by a lonely diamond. |
