 A paper lampshade from ikea. The shade is backlit by the LED lights from the lamp. I had a good feeling about this one because I knew the texture would look both familiar and mysterious.

Sorry, that title seems like a label for the latest flu strain.

The image, however, is quite captivating with the in-and-out-of-focus interwoven threads. There is a sense of force with the in-focus diagonal that is really the brawn of the impression. Yet, the upper left and lower right, with the varying light and darkness, invite the viewer to peek - to explore what possibilities, more delicate, frolic in the corners. Very creative.
