I was trying to get an idea for this as I really enjoyed playing with the light leak overlays and could not come up with something I thought would be great composition wise. Last night as we were waiting for a movie to start at the theater we decided to walk around a BEst Buy to kill time and I saw the Taylor Swift album 1989. It first made me feel old then it struck me. I can recreate this for this challenge.

I am sure I will have to prove the validity of this one during voting considering there is text in the image but this was shot with the text on a piece of card stock held in front of the camera, which I assume is legal?

This is the first image I have really dug deep to create something out of my comfort zone so I hope it all is legal under the advanced rule set.
Disqualification Details
You must retain your original, unedited file (exactly as recorded by your camera), and provide it to the Site Council along with a list of your editing steps within 48 hours of any validation request. Files that have been saved or altered with any editing or transfer software are NOT originals. NOTE: This image was NOT disqualified for added text: the text is hand-written on a matte card held between the camera and the model. Unfortunately, the photographer converted from Nikon's RAW (NEF) format to DNG and did not keep the NEF files :-(

Yeah, I tried. Even used recovery software but couldn't recover. I had already written over it with other photos which were the only images it would recover. I knew I'd get asks for validation but for some reason I thought the converted .dng still preserved the data. I know better now.

Does have a retro feel - also seems a bit unsettled.
