Hello from the critique club...
You are right this is more of a macro than an abstract. However it still works as an abstract for me. The quality of the picture is great. Nice crisp lines and colors. I even like the water droplets. I may have brought the crop in a little bit on the left though. Happy shooting. |

Not entirely abstract but also not without merit.
Initially I looked for the "shiny perfectness" usually associated with such photos, but when I didn't see it I stopped and looked a little longer.
There's some interesting detail, particularly around the speckling in the leaf. Don't care too much for the water drops, but I can't say for sure if it would be any better or worse without them. |
