Congratulations! I absolutely LOVE this image, definitely one of my favorites in the challenge. Your angle makes it look very imposing and scary, and I just love the whole atmosphere of the image. |

There isn't much of an inside and no roof. It is pretty much just a field inside it.

The backwards-leaning perspective lends a sense of sphinx-like majesty. Even as it succumbs to age it proudly surveys its realm. The composition is nicely balanced. The tint harmonizes with the mood.
I looked up Burrow Mump in Google images and prefer your depiction to any one shown there. |

Good interpretation of a familiar landmark. The PoV certainly adds to its stature. Wish there was just a tad more tonality, but it looks like you were dealing with a broody sky so I appreciate what tones you were able to achieve. Hard to believe, in a land where buildings/structures stand for centuries, this relative new one (erected in 1830's) has fallen to such decay. Nice tribute. |
