Greetings from the Critique Club.
I still really like this photo and my comments below are still the same. But I would like to help out more by pointing you to a couple of links that offer insight in taking Arhitecture photos.
This is a nice How to that focuses mainly on film photography but many of the principles still apply to digital.

Another good tutorial.

I hope this helps a little. Good work and good luck in future challenges.

I like the b & w, the border, and the repetitive pattern of the windows, the cool architectural stuff at the top of the building, and the odd angle of your composition doesn't even bother me too much.

I like the blank reflection in the windows, it's like vacant eyes staring out. Also the graininess of the sky and the borders add to this shot for me.

old timey feel works great here with the grain. still sharp and the birds and cool sky are an awesome bonus

WOW! Absolutely stunning. I love it all... the composition, the sky, the birds, the few open windows, the black and white, the grain, and the border. A very enthusiastic 10 from me. This is one of the best images I've seen on this site.

I love the use of B/W and grain in this shot, the border sets it off perfectly. One of my top pics this week. Could this be magnetic?

I like the irregular border effect ...

This is a great photo, not sure whether or not how much I like the grain in the sky, although adds a bit of a surreal look to the photo. Composition, contrast, lighting, addition of birds for perspective and interest very good. The focus on the front looks either off or poorer due to light source, but it is still overall a very nice photo.

Cool shot- The border being a bit wider on the left is a bit distracting though.

Was the grain added?

Good cropping, the birds help with the image but overall pic lacks the creativity that this challenge offered. (6)JG

Nice building shot, the two seagulls are a big plus. Contrast is good, but the sky didn't seem to take the black and white well, it appears between grainy and very grainy. It's a nice building with neat trimmings, but it doesn't "grab" me visually.

i really like this--the graininess of the sky and the stark angles of the building work nicely together---and the birds frame the picture perfectly. great work!

I like the birds and the sky...it´s all so spookie...definently a 10

The building looks like it is falling away from me. I don't know hoe to avoid this phenomenon. I didn't like the grain but when I saw the border I changed my mind because I think it fits with the "old" look. Other then the leaning look I like this photo a lot.

lots of charm and good border

Nice old fashioned styled picture. I'm not sure the border is quite acurate for the style. The birds in the sky add just the right element. Good job.

i love this image but it appears to have some grain and possibly jpeg artifacts. great composition with the angle, the clouds, and the two birds.
