 Living room set up. Sheet hung on wall for backdrop. Speedlight at 1/32 power behind her head with mini softbox attached pointing straight at camera. Umbrella with speedlight at 1/8 power just right of camera center and at about 30 degree angle. Removed blemishes and used "skin soften" preset in Lightroom 5. Learning about photography via Digital Photography School, Strobist, and Learning Photography with Anthony Morganti. We had a lot of fun last night taking these photos. My son's wife is VERY photogenic! I hope I did her justice.

Stunning portrait. I think you chose your model well. The lighting is good. The backdrop works well with your model. What else can I say. Your score demonstrates that it is a good pic. Keep it up and happy shooting.

Very pretty and well photographed subject but I find both foreground and background colors to be problematic. voted earlier

i'm painfully aware of the beating a straight studio style portrait can take on DPC, i'm sure you're not getting the score you deserve. 7

Stunning girl and great image! Is her left hand (the one with the ring) a little bit soft compared to the rest? Regardless, its a 9 from me!
