| The way the foundation is revealed gives the house a spherical appearance, furthered by the mouth revealed by the fallen plank. Kind of like a jack-o-lantern. The pink piece of clothing, as it looks like, provides a lingering touch. Has a fairy tale feel to it, which is very interesting. |

The simplicity of the structure and its apparent isolation contributes to the poignancy of this capture. Overall it seems so sad, then that red thing in the upper window catches the eye and the serenity is jolted. It is like a red ghost defiantly challenging the viewer.
The HDR worked exceptionally well to create the popping colors of the wood and emphasize the textures of the metal roof and cement foundation. Good framing for working in a heavily wooded area. Nice work. |
