Critique Club:
Meeting the Challenge: I had a very difficult time figuring out where the squares were, but I am guessing that they are in the folds, or right in the middle of the strips.
Composition: Very interesting.
Technical Quality: This looked to have been a very difficult shot to execute due to the writing on the strips. What is leftover to be visible is distracting. The shot could be sharper. The lighting made this shot interesting.
Creativity: This is the strong point of this shot (IMHO). How anyone could make a bunch of paint strips interesting is a real tough challenge in itself.
Conclusion: A great idea, tough shot, could have been better with improved technical changes. |

A wonderful concept. I just kinda wish it had been executed better. More focus, clarity, etc. |

One problem with this that I don't like is the lack of coloration and definition in the center of the strips. |

The middle of the picture is a little washed out. The background is a little too bright to bring out the richness of colours that you are trying to show. jgillard5 |

You've found a use for paint color charts!!! Congratulations. But where are the squares? The paint colors are all rectangles. |

Interesting. Im guessing that you used color charts that you can get at a home improvement store for house paints. They seem to be more of a rectangular shape. Good job. |
