A pretty messy job of the masking. I'm hoping that was intentional.
It doesn't help that I'm not a fan of partial desat. Ha! |

| You should change the brush size when performing a color splash and get every detail, not just half ass it. |

| What a great find! I would suggest getting closer with a longer lens to get more detail. Also it seems some of the grass remained saturated around the elk, which suggests your layer masking needs some refinement. |
