It looks like some have escaped up the hill and head for the woods, lol. A whimsical moment for such a serious subject.

Marvellous hues.

Where to be? Inside or outside? In the light? Between green grass? with or without marker?

Still, the sign rules over all.

just brilliant! The perfect amount of irony and edge to pay tribute to Ubique. It's probably too subtle for a Free Study which is too bad because it is a wonderful photograph.

an awkward photo, like a from-the-hip street candid of the dead

Well, this one is definitely not a subtle image, but the result of a very clever execution (bad pun intended...my apologies).

Full stop indeed. Unless you believe otherwise, of course. Well seen, quirky fun (did I say that?) capture.

Interesting visual pun. I like the limited colour palette too. The thin vignette/frame is I think a little prominent, but I like the sense of curvature it gives to the lefthand side of the image.

Ha!! Very well seen. And of course you put a cemetary at the end of a dead end road.... makes perfect sense. Now as to why some get buried on the hillside and some get fenced in... well, that one just has to wonder about.

So wrong, just so wrong. But for the challenge just so right.

I love the irony......terrific find. Well selected for this challenge. I like the PP, too. One of my Top 3 picks.

It's an unfortunate juxtaposition, isn't it? And so surprising that it's one so often seen. These sign people must surely do it on purpose. Although I'm a fan of vignettes, or even a slave to them alas, in this case I'd have resisted. Not sure why, it just seems unwarranted here. Maybe a case of over-egging the pudding? Thank you.
