A monolith. He does a great job, but sadly has an incurable interest in streamers, so the parking barricade has been compromised. Still, he's at his post, and he looks quite determined. Possibly out of guilt. Cool photo. |

The birds will inherit the earth from parking attendants right up to park rangers. A lovely juxtaposition. |

this photo has some life in it. The bird against the sky, of course, but also the way the bird is made part of the horizon, and is accompanied by other odd shapes, which we eventually realize is a dramatic landscape that you've robbed of drama, and replaced with a sense of quotidian randomness. the angle and composition with so much sky serve to emphasize the unimportance of what's on the ground. The line held up by no parking signs is broken. A pickup truck is parked, mocking the sentinel. Like all good humor, this has some tragedy in it. This is the sorrow and hilarity of how trivial our concerns are.
I'm hanging this in my fantasy gallery

The crow is known for it's intelligence. I wonder if they can read, lol. No fear here because there is no parking and I am safe. A quirky moment captured nicely. |

What on earth is going on? The crow is boss of some great leveller exercise..Feels like black humour. |

This one has the feel of an old movie set...I'm waiting for David Lynch. |

I see this as viewer becomes crow (raven?). We slip into the mind of the bird and survey our world. The irony of the parked truck, while amusing to, and appreciated by, the human happening along into our quarter, is unnoticed as such by ourselves (we crows). So I find this to be a very powerful image before I swing back into the chattering human mind. OK. I'm enjoying the somewhat jumbled composition and the juxtaposition of roadwork and the beautiful sea islands popping up in the background. Of course juxtaposition, as such, is once again the product of discriminating mind, which crows will have nothing of. Too much babbling. I like this picture. |

Remarkable geology meets serial killer's picnic spot. Darkly ominous.
How many bodies have been carried in that pickup?
I like the tilt too - complying with convention would not be appropriate for this image's mood.
Very effective image. |

I love this. The composition is fabulous and the tilt is perfect. You have just the right amount of affectation and edge to pay tribute to Ubique. |

Anything with a corvid in it is interesting to me. I love those birds. They're the smartest of all birds and very possibly the smartest of all animals, so I'm not surprised that they're now being employed as parking supervisors. Actually, they're kinda overqualified for the job.
Thanks for not 'straightening' the horizon, a nitpick that matters only to those who think the earth is flat. It isn't; it's quite bent, as you clearly demonstrate here.
Anyway, I enjoyed your picture for those reasons and more, and I thank you for it. |

This made me smile. Your supervisor is so very intent on his job, and perhaps just a bit worried that the lines have fallen. Obviously there's a problem, given there's a truck parked beyond the barrier. |
