| An interesting subject! As for score, there are a couple of things that might have helped. The yellow blob above your slug and the black slime on the stick are a bit unappetizing. Not sure if you could have removed these things or waited a bit for your slug to move? The composition is just a bit static - if you had your slug more on the diagonal it would feel a bit more dynamic, I think. Finally, it almost looks as though you used a flash? The lighting seems just a bit harsh. If it was a bright day, there's not much you can do about that, though. But back to your subject - I don't think I've ever seen one of these in person, and I'm glad you chose to share it with us! To me, a photograph should share *something* with the viewer, and quite often, the more unique, the better! |
