| Pulling away in distance tends to deindividualize, if not dehumanize, people. Here the distance is not so far as to accomplish that, but far enough to allow a bit of abstraction. The white lines are so strong that I'm seeing the people becoming like vagrant notes on a continuous staff. And a nice little symphony it is. |

I expected them to have to jump over the obstacles.
How different from ants we are. Ants would be touching, helping with messages of problems or food-directions. We're walking our defensive lines. |

| I did a shot like this long ago, except I could not afford the extravagant cast. I had just one guy. There's something theatrical about zebra crossings (or whatever they may be called where you live); it's like improvisational theatre, but en masse. The picture is packed with interesting little playlets; especially love the tight rank of suits about one-third from the left. And the big circular drain at lower right, ready to transport new players in and out of the stage; like a theatre trapdoor. Great fun. Thank you. |
